Under contract with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), IPRO is the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for New York State. QIOs work with providers, partners and stakeholders to improve healthcare services received by Medicare beneficiaries.
QIO News, a bi-monthly publication of CMS, provides timely, in-depth information about the ways QIOs and the QIO Program are improving health quality. Every issue features an exclusive interview with a quality leader, highlights QIO accomplishments, and provides real-world examples of the QIO strategies and tools that help healthcare providers “move the measures” for safer, more efficient patient care.
