Success Stories
Learning is a never-ending process. Having a place to read and share stories of successful and innovative paths to quality improvement is vital to administrators and staff at nursing homes and, ultimately, beneficial to their residents. As IPRO and its partners finish the current three-year contract cycle, having focused on improving pressure ulcer rates and reducing use of restraints, this website will serve as a home for such stories. As we move into a new contract cycle with both common and new areas of focus, these stories will help to create a road map for nursing homes who are looking for new and effective ways to improve the quality of their care.
We invite you to tell us about your facility's quality improvement (QI) programs, activities, experiences and successes. Think about the QI initiatives that have been implemented in your facility, the challenges that were met head on, the systems and processes your facility has put into place, how the QI process began, the obstacles that were met and overcome and the overall improvement that was achieved and sustained.
Your approach to QI may be instrumental in helping others achieve their own success, so please send your facility's story to our team at IPRO so your positive experiences may be highlighted and help others.
